Back to this magical restaurant called Baron. I’ve been here not so long ago, leaving amazed and astonished by the food and ambiance. Casual, uncomplicated, simple yet gourmet and upscale; Baron reminded me of a Noma where fine dining cuisine is enjoyed with no rules.
- The music: excellent!
- The vibes: memorable.
- The service: very good.
- The food: outstanding.
- The Feeling: Pretentious and arrogant mood.
What one needs more than that?! At Baron, it’s a guarantee of satisfaction every time you visit. The team is well trained, the chef creates masterpieces in his kitchen, helped by a brigade of professional apprentices.
Reminding you of the concept, Baron’s plates are named according to the market daily produce. Do not and I repeat, do not come here without having the cauliflower. The other dishes follow of which the famous duck, tenderloin, lamb shank to name a few.
Oh My God! The food is so good! The eggplant, the carrots, the mushrooms, and the cauliflower; everything I’ve had tonight is memorable. I won’t go into describing every plate because I decided to enjoy my dinner. I have to tell you about the spices used everywhere in style, the balance of ingredients, the cooking temperature and the phenomenal pleasant textures.
Every plate is not only good food, but more of a journey; ingredients blended together to create a sensation. They tickle your tongue, caresse your palate, pamper your throat making you smile indistinctly.
Wow: the coconut curry fish! The lamb softness and smoothness! The tenderloin... food is superb!
Minuses:
- I was clear! I CANT EAT GARLIC! This is the second time that garlic is being hidden in my food. I was sick later that night and the next morning; the same way after my first visit.
- When emptying a bottle of wine in a carafe, do it in front of the guests.
- Food is complicated: You have enough after eating twice.
Give Baron a try.
