After “not enjoying” breakfast at the neighbors on a beautiful Sunday morning, I walked to Deli.Co and I smiled from the minute I walked in. Music, fresh vibes, a positive ambiance and a certain feeling of lightness and happiness. Great choices served all day long every Sunday: bagels, eggs, sandwiches, desserts, cakes, and plates loaded with happiness. Because food is prepared with love, you will enjoy Beirut in style, traveling to Paris without having to buy a ticket.
I’ve been here, not so long ago and again enjoying it as if it was the first time: good service, great looking plates, and very tasty offerings. The chefs at Deli.co have managed to import flavors of the west cooked with the know-how of the east.
There is “good food,” and there is “Deli.co Food”; food at Deli.Co is beyond normal. There is passion, love, know-how, balance, and taste in every bite — the most tender burger bun the country has ever witnessed filled with eggs and smoked meat. An “OMG” feeling of foodgasm rarely felt in a sandwich. The whole melts under your teeth waking up each and every taste bud of yours.
The bagel, spread with ripe avocado purée and topped with salmon is just perfect: it needs nothing, perfectly seasoned, drizzled with lemon and sprinkled with poppy seeds. Yummy from the first bite and addictive so you can’t but finish it.
Order the granola & yogurt and make sure you get a jar of honey with it. Drizzle the honey and enjoy a cocktail of flavors and textures. Pecan, fried cranberries, fresh strawberries and bananas, every bite will draw a smile on your face. And then, like every visit, it needs to end with the carrot cake: the best in town! The cake that makes me scream!!!!!!
