An Exceptional Stay at The Radisson Collection, Hotel Royal Copenhagen
Non-smokers friendly

An upscale hotel, oozing luxury and style, located in the very center of Copenhagen, offering a superb view and amazing amenities; welcome to the Radisson Collection Hotel Royal Copenhagen. I’m a fan of the Radisson hotel group of hotels, tried it already several times around the world and I make sure to put it on top of my list when visiting a new city. Bravo for such an amazing hotel where devil is in the details.

Perfection; perfection in the details follows you as you walk through the hotel. It’s class found at Palaces brought to you in a casual hotel. With the best location the city can offer, with staff that is trained to perfection, with rooms providing an open view to the city... it’s more than one can ask for.

The Radisson Collection Royal Hotel is a pioneer in numerous regards. It’s the world’s first design hotel and the only hotel by renowned designer and architect Arne Jacobsen, making it the true home of Danish modernism. Constructed in 1960, the building still dominates the city skyline, and its interior design impresses visitors to this day.

Arrive to the reception where a battalion of receptionists, concierge and helpers welcome you with a smile. Enjoy a glass of detox water, check-in and take the elevator up to the room. The hotel’s wide lobby is relaxing, a place where we spent much of our time between the cafe and relaxing sofas. It’s warm and homey, cozy and classy.

Rooms are more than one would expect; blending luxury and simplicity together, it was the first time with the hundreds of hotels I visited that I feel home. Walking on the wooden floor, jumping between the sofas and the bed, it felt like I was in my own bedroom.

Our Suite was situated on the top floor of the hotel and overlook the heart of the city. The space boasts an abundance of natural light due to the large panoramic windows. Decorated in timeless Scandinavian design including the iconic Arne Jacobsen Swan chair, a Le Klint lamp and the sophisticated Drop chair by the desk. A stylish sitting area enjoying some quality time in the 3-seater Arne Jacobsen Mayor sofa.
