Alila Hinu Bay Set to Welcome International Guests

Alila Hinu Bay, the newest addition to Alila Hotels & Resorts, is ready to welcome international guests for the first time, following the recent announcement of borders in Oman re-opening to tourists.

The boutique, beachfront eco-resort, which opened in June this year, is located in Mirbat, Salalah and rests on an endless bay and private beach with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Boasting an unprecedented level of discovery. The resort has since invited local guests to embark on a haven of nature, discovery and tranquillity, as a new addition to Salalah’s hidden gems.

Offering the best of both worlds, the resort flourishes in both marine life and nature reserves. Located between Jabal Samhan and the Arabian Sea, Alila Hinu Bay is a nature lovers paradise, displaying the richest historical and cultural settings in the coastal town of Mirbat, in the Dhofar governate, 87 kilometers from Salalah International Airport and accessible by road from Muscat.

Alila Hinu Bay houses 112 stylish rooms, including a 60sqm Terrace Room, with lagoon or sea view, and a pool villa with 166sqm of indulgence and direct beach access.

The 5-star resort accommodates to both private romantic dining and family-friendly dinners, which can be enjoyed at a number of locations on the property. Spa Alila at Alila Hinu Bay, offers customised treatments and packages to suit every traveler, in addition to a range of yoga and meditation sessions.

“We have been eagerly anticipating the opening of the property and are now even more pleased to finally be able to welcome international guests to witness the ‘Alila Experience’ in such a spectacular location. Alila Hinu Bay proudly settles in Mirbat, Salalah, because of its rich culture, humble villages and beautiful landscape. We are taking out all the stops to ensure that each one of our guests experiences a safe and spectacular trip.” said-, Martin Persson, General Manager of Alila Hinu Bay.

With its sophisticated design, the property carries a heavy influence of the Omani vernacular, emphasising on chic and contemporary interiors, paired with its minimalist aesthetics that perfectly blend with the local climate and culture. The furniture: including a marble on the facade, falaj water features and an Omani archway corridor, create a sense of native place, whilst keeping to its eco-friendly custom.

Alila means “Surprise” in Sanskrit, which uniquely highlights the character of each resort from a guest’s experience. Alila Hinu Bay is crafted for those who have a profound desire for luxury discoveries in life, with a true balance of harmony and a humble nature. Whilst wandering on the resort, guests will be stepping into a concept of curiosity, with an incredible story to tell, unraveled by the natural contours of the architecture and framed by tranquil views of the sea.
