A New Look for the Golden Arches

The last time McDonald's redesigned its global packaging was in 2013 featuring a collage of QR codes, slogans, illustrations, and symbols - the idea then was to express storytelling using graphics. Today, the famous golden arches is getting a whole new makeover towards simplicity. The idea is to convey the company's new agenda of being modern and progressive.

The new look is starting to pop up in the U.S. before heading around the globe. The designs feature colors that almost sound like the names of new McDonald's smoothies or fancy burgers: Passionate Purple, Optimistic Orange, Ocean Fresh Blue, Zesty Lime and Magical Magenta. Of course, McDonald's signature red and yellow also appear.
