Lebanon boasts a number of restaurants some of which welcome guests in the early hours of the morning to enjoy a hearty breakfast. Whether it's pancakes, croissants, eggs scrambled or Sunny Side Up), manakeesh or even a buffet feast of fancy cheese and cold cuts you desire – here is a list of my favourite breakfast spots to start your day – in this case your year!

Breakfast (literally meaning to break the fasting period of the prior night) is the first meal taken after rising from a night's sleep, most often eaten in the early morning before undertaking the day's work. Among English speakers, "breakfast" can be used to refer to this meal, or, less commonly, to refer to a meal composed of traditional breakfast foods (such as eggs, oatmeal and sausage) served at any time of day.
